INTRODUCTION

The Association’s function include introducing the latest electro-plating, pollution and sewage treatment solution through technical seminars, workshops and industrial publications. By organizing overseas visit tours, we facilitate the technological exchange with the industrial bodies worldwide. In addition to the active collaboration with the mainland electro-plating industrialists, regular meetings provide opportunities for technological and marketing exchange. We also assist our members in business promotion and market development. Further, the Association represents in public authority meeting such as Trade and Industry Department, Environmental Department and Labour Department, establishes the mutual relationship and communication, hence promotes the industry and obtains the support of the electro-plating industry in general. We organize international electro-plating exhibition to give a marketing platform to the members. Plating factory may gain the updated information about materials, technology and equipment suppliers.

AIM

The Hong Kong Electro-Plating Merchants Association was founded in December 1948. The Association is aiming for providing benefits to the electro-plating industry, facilitating industry networking, providing the legal rights and interests, promoting market development, enhancing surface treatment technology and cultivating talented people in the industry.
